About Add Skills
AAS Core is a local, agent-first tool for working with a catalog of 2,665+ installable SKILL.md playbooks. Codex or Claude can search the complete local catalog, record the skills the agent selects, and generate a plan preview to inspect before changing a target project.
The supported preview covers local catalog inspection, stack validation with aas stack validate, and immutable previews with aas stack plan, with manifests limited to 128 skills. Core does not rank, recommend, or install skills in this path, and apply and recovery remain experimental. It is an independent community project with the GitHub repository as the canonical source.
