About CCHDO
CCHDO (CLIVAR and Carbon Hydrographic Data Office) provides access to global, vessel-based CTD and hydrographic data from GO-SHIP, WOCE, CLIVAR and other repeat hydrography programs. The data are openly accessible and served in standardized community formats: WHP-Exchange, WOCE, and netCDF. CCHDO also manages public and non-public CTD data for the global Argo and OceanSITES programs.
Users can search cruise data by map or advanced keyword, latitude/longitude, and time criteria, or search individual profiles through ERDDAP with parameter filters and multiple download formats. A full dataset snapshot is available for bulk download and is updated monthly. Quick start guides using Jupyter Notebooks and derived products such as GO-SHIP Easy Ocean and Java OceanAtlas are also provided.
