About Central Music Authority Archive
The Central Music Authority Archive (KeMKA) is the central site of the “Mousikes Ellinikes Optikoakoustikes Sylloges” (M.E.L.O.S.) research project. The project is co-funded by Greece and the European Union under Greece 2.0 and the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. It created four repositories containing metadata and documentation from participating institutions.
On this site you can search and browse the entities produced collaboratively by the project researchers, including musical persons, musical works, recordings, scores, music editions, and music events. The site also links to three Local Repositories of Music Entities (TAMO): the Mikis Theodorakis Scores Archive, the Greek Double Bass Archive, and the Vasilis Tsitsanis Recordings Collection.
The archive suits researchers, students, and others working with Greek music documentation who need metadata and references to scores and recordings. The interface is in Greek.
