About Consent-O-matic

Consent-O-Matic is a browser extension that automatically fills website cookie consent pop-ups based on user preferences, even when pop-ups use dark pattern designs that make rejecting tracking difficult. It supports Chrome, Firefox, Safari (desktop and mobile iOS) and Microsoft Edge for desktop, and applies the most privacy-preserving available settings when a site uses non-standard consent categories. If the extension cannot process a pop-up, users can anonymously report the site via the extension's settings to help update its handling rules. The extension stores only user preferences, pop-up interaction counts and saved click counts locally on the user's device, and does not collect personal data during normal use.
