DAKSH High Court Data Portal
The DAKSH High Court Data Portal presents data about case pendency and age in Indian High Courts, collected from public cause lists.

About DAKSH High Court Data Portal
The DAKSH High Court Data Portal hosts a database created in 2015 to examine pendency and age of cases in the Indian judiciary. It collects primary data from public daily cause lists of six High Courts—Karnataka, Hyderabad, Delhi, Madras, Gujarat, and Orissa—and, since May 2015, from the National Judicial Data Grid and eCourts.gov.in for subordinate judiciary cases. Data is available at case level (case number, status, Act or Section) and hearing level (hearing date, stage), with specialised dashboards for POCSO, juvenile justice, and domestic violence cases.
The portal notes that publicly available judicial data is not in a useable form, and it aims to provide an analysable format. Limits include gaps in available data that may affect findings, and specialised dashboards that are limited to cases identifiable through distinct case types on eCourts, which not all courts provide. Database access requires a login.
