About Digital Academic Archive Saxony
Digital Academic Archive Saxony (DIHAS, Digitales Hochschularchiv Sachsen) is a joint network solution of Saxon universities for the electronic long-term archiving of digital records. It is designed to provide coordination, specialist advice and system operation from one source, with the aim of making digital archiving easier to access for participating institutions.
The homepage describes DIHAS as currently in a project-accompanying build-up phase, focused on developing and testing digital archiving workflows, establishing an advisory service and building the technical infrastructure. The homepage does not describe a public search of digitized university records or research collections, which the directory category suggests. Information for participating universities is kept in the DIHAS Wiki.
