About Digitale Bibliothek
Digitale Bibliothek (DigiBib) is a cloud-based service offered by the North Rhine-Westphalian University Library Centre (hbz) to public and academic libraries. Participating libraries use it as a standardised access point, giving their users a single route to a range of information and service offerings, including online interlibrary loans. The site is in German.
DigiBib can also be used as an online catalogue with an integrated user account, where users manage loans, reservations and fees. Visitors can use the map or the search function to find the libraries that give access to the DigiBib portal. The range of functions varies by library, and in most cases the full range is available only to holders of a library card issued by that institution.
