E-Theses Online Service
EThOS lets users search metadata for more than 650,000 doctoral theses from the United Kingdom.

About E-Theses Online Service
EThOS (E-Theses Online Service) is an open access discovery platform for doctoral theses from UK universities. It is managed by the British Library. Users can search metadata for more than 650,000 theses, and the platform includes descriptions dating from the 1700s onward. The platform holds metadata for theses held in UK university repositories, so it covers UK theses only.
Many records include an "Access thesis from university" button that links to the thesis record in the university's repository. A full thesis may be downloadable there, but only if the university has made it available. The service was recently restored after restoration work and is still being updated, with an initial backlog of content still being processed.
