Edit csv
A free Visual Studio Code extension that displays CSV data in an editable table beside its source file.

About Edit csv
Edit csv is a free, open source extension for Visual Studio Code. It opens a CSV file in an editable table with an Excel-like interface, displayed beside the source file. Changes made in the table are written back to the source file when you click Apply, and Apply and save also saves the file. Undo is available in the table or in the source file after applying.
The data flow is one way, from the editor to the source file. If the CSV file changes while the editor is open, the editor is not updated. Empty lines are skipped on load, and comment rows export only their first cell. The README notes that the approach does not scale well to large CSV files, because the content is stored for the whole session. An online version is available at edit-csv.net for use without Visual Studio Code.
