About European Zebrafish Resource Center
The European Zebrafish Resource Center archives zebrafish lines and provides fish, plasmids, sequencing, and genetic and chemical screening services for biomedical researchers in Europe. Its searchable collection includes over 30,000 mutant, transgenic and wildtype lines, including Tübingen and Sanger mutants, and over 2,000 plasmids containing zebrafish genes distributed with the Helmholtz Repository of Bioparts.
It operates a high-throughput screening center with automated embryo sorting and image analysis, and offers the bimonthly International Zebrafish and Medaka Course and hands-on cryopreservation training. Cryopreservation for submitted CRISPR lines is free when the lines can be distributed.
