About GitHub Cheat Sheet
GitHub Cheat Sheet is a README-based list of lesser-known features of Git and GitHub, maintained in the repository tiimgreen/github-cheat-sheet. It describes URL adjustments for GitHub diffs, commit histories, and branch comparisons, along with notes on cloning, branch management, and Git resources. The sheet is inspired by talks by Zach Holman and is available in English, Korean, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
The sheet is a reference of tips rather than a tool. Several tricks depend on specific GitHub page URLs and do not work everywhere. For example, the tab-width setting does not apply to Gists or raw file views. The README also notes sponsorship by Snapshot, an AI product photo service that is unrelated to Git.
Key features

- Each tip includes a concrete URL pattern or example

- Available in several languages
- The tab-width tip does not work on Gists or raw file views
- The sheet is a list of tips, not an interactive tool
