Heynote
Organize text in Heynote’s persistent buffer, which divides notes into separate blocks.

About Heynote
Heynote is a text editor built around a single persistent buffer that is divided into blocks. Each block can hold a separate note, such as a meeting summary, a to-do list, a JSON response from an API, or a message draft. Each block can also have its own language setting, with syntax highlighting and auto-formatting. Math blocks work as calculator scratchpads that support variables, functions and unit conversions, including currencies.
Notes can be spread across multiple buffers, which can be organized into directories, and each buffer corresponds to a file on disk. The homepage lists downloads for Mac, Windows, and Linux (AppImage and Snap). The homepage does not state pricing, and it does not describe sync or cloud features.
