About Homer
Homer is an open source static start page for a personal or self-hosted server. It presents links to the services you run, and you define its contents in a single YAML configuration file. The result is a full static HTML and JavaScript dashboard, so it has no database or server-side application logic.
Homer must be served by an HTTP server. The source states that it will not work if index.html is opened directly over the file:// protocol. It can be run with the official Docker image, from a prebuilt release tarball placed behind any web server, or built manually with pnpm. The source documents the Docker environment variables SUBFOLDER, PORT, IPV6_DISABLE and INIT_ASSETS.
