About Hueblocks

HueBlocks is a Minecraft block gradient generator. Users pick colours or blocks, set the number of blocks between points, and generate a gradient. It supports multiple colour points, Minecraft Java Edition version selection, custom palettes with JSON import and export, texture filtering by facing, and sRGB and OkLAB colour calculation.

The repository version includes blocks from 1.8.9, 1.13.2, and 26.1 as of March 2026. It omits blocks with fully transparent pixels, biome- or foliage-affected textures, and overly similar blocks. Use of other versions requires forking the repository and hosting an instance with custom blocksets.

Key features

  • Generate block gradients from chosen colours or blocks
  • Support multiple colour points with adjustable spacing
  • Select Minecraft Java Edition version for block set
  • Create and share custom palettes via JSON import/export
  • Filter usable textures by block facing/side
  • Switch between sRGB and OkLAB colour calculation
Best for: Minecraft Java Edition builders who need block gradients for builds.
