About Ledger

Ledger provides hardware signers that work with the Ledger Wallet app to manage cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Monero and Solana. The wallet stores public and private keys and is used to sign transactions, generate addresses, initiate transfers, track balances and interact with dApps.

Buying, swapping and staking are handled by comparing third-party providers in the app. Staking is limited to eligible assets with rewards from third-party providers, and swap and stake actions are described as keeping private keys on the signer offline. Users are warned never to share the 24-word recovery phrase.
