About Maxurl
MaxURL, also called Image Max URL, tries to find larger or original versions of images and videos, usually by replacing URL patterns. It includes support for over 10,000 hardcoded websites listed in sites.txt, plus generic engines such as Wordpress and MediaWiki for other sites.
It is distributed as a userscript, a Firefox browser extension, a website version, a node module, and a Reddit bot. The website version cannot support some URLs that require cross-origin requests, and the extension must be sideloaded outside Firefox.
