About MinecraftSearch

MinecraftSearch seed map shows biomes, structures, slime chunks and ore locations for a supplied Minecraft seed. Users enter a seed and select edition, version and dimension, with support for Java, Large Biomes and Bedrock across the Overworld, Nether and End, including Java 26.3 and Bedrock 1.26.51.

It provides structure toggles, biome highlighting, slime-chunk and spawn overlays, named pins, completed-structure marking and shareable links, with calculations done locally in the browser and view data saved locally. Structure accuracy varies by type and edition, and colours represent biomes rather than water level, so displayed coastlines may differ from the game.

Key features

  • Enter seed and choose edition, version, and dimension
  • Toggle markers for villages, strongholds, ancient cities, and other structures
  • Highlight selected biomes while fading out other map areas
  • Overlay slime chunks and world spawn on the map
  • Drop named pins and mark structures as completed
  • Share map view through link encoding seed and coordinates
Best for: Minecraft Java and Bedrock players who want to find biomes and structures from a seed without loading the world.
Good for
  • Biome and structure calculations run locally, so seed data does not leave the device.
  • Covers Java, Large Biomes and Bedrock across Overworld, Nether and End.
  • Pins, completed structures and view settings are saved locally with link sharing.
Watch out for
  • Some structure types such as dungeons have lower placement accuracy.
  • Bedrock structure placement can be less accurate than Java.
  • Biome colours do not show water level, so coastlines may not match the game.

MinecraftSearch FAQ

How do I find the seed of my world?
In single-player, run /seed in chat; on servers, operator permissions or savegame file access is needed.
Are Java and Bedrock seeds the same?
No, they use different generation algorithms, so the same seed creates different worlds; select the matching edition.
How accurate is the seed map?
Villages, strongholds and ocean monuments are listed up to 99% accurate, with each marker showing its percentage; dungeons are lower, some features are estimates, and Bedrock can be lower than Java.
