This page documents how credits work for Netlify's credit-based Free, Personal, and Pro plans. It covers monthly allotments, the order in which balances are used, rollover rules, credit packs, and auto recharge. New accounts created from September 4, 2025 use these plans.
Free includes 300 credits per month with a hard limit, Personal includes 1,000, and Pro starts at 3,000. Monthly credits reset each cycle and generally do not roll over, except for Pro plans with 5,000 or more monthly credits. When the balance is fully used, sites are paused and show a Site not available page.

What happens when credits run out?
All web projects are paused and visitors see a Site not available page at each project URL.
Do monthly credits roll over?
Generally no, except Pro plans with 5,000 or more monthly credits can carry unused credits forward for one additional month.
Who can enable auto recharge?
Only a Team Owner can enable or disable it for all projects on a team, and it is turned off by default.
