About Neovim
Neovim is a text editor based on Vim that can be extended with Lua plugins and a documented, versioned API. Its configuration is written in init.lua, and Lua is built in. Vimscript is also supported.
Neovim can run as an embedded editor or script host for GUIs, IDEs, and web browsers through its remote procedure call (RPC) interface, which lets extensions be written in any language. It is fully compatible with Vim's editing model and Vimscript v1. Users who already use Vim can start with the :help nvim-from-vim guide.
