About Neuron

Neuron provides Python classes for LNU, QNU, RBF, MLP and MLP-ELM neural units learned with gradient descent or Levenberg-Marquardt methods.

Examples use X as inputs and Y as targets with train, count and countSerie methods and settings for epochs, prediction steps and logging. It needs pandas and numpy to work.

Key features

  • Linear neural unit class trained with gradient descent
  • Quadratic neural unit class trained with Levenberg-Marquardt
  • Radial basis function unit with adjustable beta parameter
  • Multilayer perceptron variants including extreme learning machine
  • Series evaluation using inputs X and targets Y
  • Configurable epochs, prediction steps and logging options
Best for: Python users experimenting with LNU, QNU, RBF and MLP units for prediction tasks.
Good for
  • Covers LNU, QNU, RBF, MLP and MLP-ELM units
  • Includes gradient descent and Levenberg-Marquardt learning
  • Requires only pandas and numpy dependencies
