About Nitrox
Nitrox is an open-source multiplayer modification for Subnautica. It provides client-server play with synced player movement and animations, item pickup and dropping, long-range world state, base and furniture building with power management, Seamoth, Exosuit and Cyclops syncing, plus chat and a HUD for remote players.
The project describes the mod as in very early stages of development. Releases are distributed through the Nitrox website, with a separate install script for read-only Linux distributions such as SteamOS, and issue discussion is directed to Discord.
