About overscript
Overscript is a web directory for imageboard and textboard software. It collects anonymous futaba-style bulletin board scripts in one catalog, with each entry showing information such as author, programming language, creation date, status, version, and notes.
You can browse the list and sort entries to compare options. Where available, entries link to GitHub or a download, and some entries indicate when no source is available. The site also points to a tarball archive and a git mirror, with a note to get the latest version from the original source when possible.
It suits developers, researchers, and hobbyists who want to find or compare bulletin board scripts, as well as anyone setting up an imageboard or textboard. Contact by email is offered for suggesting missing scripts and for help with setup.
