About Pointless Sites
Pointless Sites is a curated directory of unusual websites, games, animations, puzzles, sounds and other diversions, aimed at people looking for something to do when bored. Visitors can browse by category (including Animations, Games and Puzzles, Hypnotic, Odd, Pictures, Sound and Music, and Tools), use an A-Z list or search box, view a monthly Trending Top 40, and vote daily for sites they like.
The site says it lists only pointless and useless sites that are original, not offensive, family friendly and free of pop-up ads, and it accepts user submissions for new listings. Entries link out to third-party sites, and the directory provides a broken-link report option and a setting to exclude Flash sites.
