Couchmoney provides regularly updated film and television recommendations for users looking for their next watch.
About Recommendations
Couchmoney is a web tool that generates film and television recommendations and delivers them as lists to a user's Trakt account. It builds picks from a user's ratings, recently watched items, or another Trakt list, and updates the lists after the user watches or rates titles in Trakt. Users can filter recommendations by genre, year, decade, language, and obscurity level, and lists exclude titles already seen or rated.
Using Couchmoney requires a Trakt account with some rated movies or shows. New users can create up to five recommendation lists, matching the Trakt limit for non-VIP members. Recommendations are limited to 18 selectable languages, and non-English data is described as less comprehensive and somewhat skewed toward US and English-language tastes. Initial lists may take from a few minutes to several hours to appear.
