Royal Constellations
Royal Constellations visualizes a thousand years of ancestral connections in European royal families.

About Royal Constellations
Royal Constellations is a web-based interactive visualization that maps 1000 years of ancestral connections in European royal families. Each royal is represented as a star positioned vertically by their birth year and horizontally by their closest relative who is a current European hereditary royal leader. Users can select two royals to view the shortest path between them, or hover over a star to see how many relatives are connected to that person in 6 degrees of separation. The visualization is not a complete or perfect genealogy, and many additional interconnections likely exist.
