This project collects September 11 attack recordings and synchronizes them in a media player to present events in sequence.

About Rt911
Rt911 is an open source repository for 911realtime.org, which collects September 11 attack multimedia and synchronizes it in a common player to present events in sequence across television, radio, pagers, and the web. The version 2 rewrite presents the material in a Mac OS 8-style desktop with apps for TV, radio scanning, pager decoding, news, program guide, archived newspapers, photos, video, archived websites, and Usenet discussions.
Running it requires cloning the repository and installing the toolchain, including Node 25 and pnpm 10, with Go 1.25 and Python 3.12 for the tools package. The retro Browser app also requires a separate TimeMachine proxy to load Wayback Machine snapshots.
