About SVGX
SVGX is a desktop asset manager for Mac and Windows that finds, previews, and edits SVG files stored on the computer. It searches nested folders, shows how files render with zoom and background options, allows live editing of SVG markup, copies markup, URL-encoded code and CSS background-image code, optimizes files with the SVGO library, and exports original or optimized SVG or PNG.
It works offline and starts by reading SVG files from the Documents folder. PNG export requires explicit width and height attributes to render fully, and the app is not signed or distributed through official Apple or Microsoft stores.

Is SVGX free to use?
Yes, you may download and use SVGX free of charge.
Why does SVGX need access to the Documents folder?
It is an offline program that reads and writes SVG files and starts in the Documents folder. On Mac, denying that access prevents the app from functioning properly.
Why does PNG export show only part of the image?
The current implementation requires the svg element to have explicit width and height attributes, for example width="800" height="600".
