About TextGrid Repository
TextGrid Repository is an archive for humanities research data holding texts and images from digital humanities projects, including manuscript images and transcriptions, historical literature, and corpora such as the Calderón Drama Corpus and the Text Database and Dictionary of Classic Mayan. Most texts are available in XML/TEI encoding as well as plain text format.
Users can search the collection, filter by author, genre, file type, and project, save items to a shelf, and download shelf collections in XML or TXT or open them in digital tools. All published content is open access with a citation suggestion for each item. Researchers can submit TEI documents or images for publication with required metadata; coverage is project-specific and grows over time.
