About Virtual Polytechnical Library
The Virtual Polytechnical Library (VPK) is a document delivery service run by the Czech National Technical Library (NTK) with participating libraries in the Czech Republic. Users order copies of journal articles and other documents from a shared union catalogue of journals. Copies can be sent electronically as PDF files, mailed as printed copies, or collected in person.
Users can also order articles held by libraries outside the VPK network, in the Czech Republic and abroad, through interlibrary loan services. Access requires registration. The service is paid, and individuals must be over 18 or be a legal entity. All materials are provided only for personal or internal use, study, science, and research.
