About Casa Os
CasaOS is an open-source personal cloud system for running home services on your own hardware. The project is hosted on GitHub by IceWhaleTech and is intended as a personal data center for storing files and running self-hosted applications.
You can install selected apps such as Nextcloud, HomeAssistant, AdGuard, and Jellyfin from an app store with one-click installation, and install other apps from the Docker ecosystem. It includes file and drive management through a web interface, plus widgets that show resource usage and app status. It supports amd64, arm64, and armv7 hardware, including ZimaBoard, Intel NUC, Raspberry Pi, and old computers, and works with Debian, Ubuntu Server, Raspberry Pi OS, and CentOS. Installation uses a command-line script, and updates can be done from Settings in the interface or from a terminal.
It suits people who want to self-host services at home on existing or supported computers and manage them without working directly with code or forms.
