DocsGPT
DocsGPT answers questions over company documents through an open-source and self-hosted retrieval-augmented generation platform.

About DocsGPT
DocsGPT is an open-source platform for private AI assistants and search over an organization's own documents. It is built by Arc53 and uses retrieval-augmented generation. Every answer includes citations to its source. The code is available under the MIT licence.
You can connect documents from sources such as Google Drive, SharePoint, Confluence and S3, and work with more than 30 file formats including PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, Markdown and HTML. Scanned PDFs can be processed with OCR. You can set up different agent types to answer questions, run scheduled tasks, and use tools, and build multi-step document workflows with a visual builder. Governance features include guardrails, audit logs, and SSO/SCIM/RBAC.
DocsGPT can be used in the cloud, as a managed dedicated instance, on-premises in your own data centre, or fully air-gapped with no external network access. It installs with Docker on macOS, Linux and Windows. It suits teams that need to keep document search and AI answers within specific data residency rules.
