The Forschungsdatenzentrum of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF-FDZ) provides migration and integration data for scientific research. Operating since August 2021, it offers register data from the Central Register of Foreigners and vocational language courses, as well as survey data from the BAMF Research Centre.
Selected holdings include AZR and BSK samples for quantitative analysis, the TransFAR 2020 survey of Eritrean and Syrian refugees, and address data for scientific surveys. Data on Ukrainian refugees is available through the DIW research data centre, and holdings and access routes are updated over time. Content is in German with an English version available.
