About GARbro
GARbro is a Windows browser for visual novel resource archives. It lets users move through archive contents in a file-system-style view and extract files from them. When GARbro recognizes a game's archive format, it shows the contents as it would a regular folder. Selected files can be extracted with images and audio converted to common formats, provided the game format itself is recognized.
Users should note several limits. The software runs only on Windows and requires .NET Framework 4.6 or newer. Some archives are encrypted and may ask for credentials or a game title. If a game is not listed among the options, the archive may not be supported by the current version. File types are assigned from file name extensions, so they are not always correct, although users can change them manually.
