LunaTranslator extracts text from running visual novels for translation. It uses HOOK extraction, HOOK for NS/PSP/PSV/PS2 emulator games, and OCR with a built-in model and other online and offline engines.
It works with translation engines including large language models and offline options, can display translations inside some games, and includes Japanese segmentation with kana annotation, AnkiConnect and Yomitan support, text-to-speech, and speech recognition on Windows 10 and 11. It is open source under GPLv3.
