Version 0.4.0 adds over 300 more Spark SQL functions, results as tech.ml.dataset datasets, tensors and Arrow, and Clojure UDFs over Spark Connect. The changelog documents changes since 0.0.42, including breaking changes.

Key features

  • Runs Clojure dataframe operations on Apache Spark
  • Composes Dataset and Column operations with threading macro
  • Accepts columns, strings, and keywords for column arguments
  • Groups, aggregates, orders, and describes datasets
  • Returns results as tech.ml.dataset datasets, tensors, and Arrow
  • Supports Clojure UDFs over Spark Connect
Best for: Clojure developers who work with Apache Spark Datasets and Columns.
Good for
