Hauk FAQ

What are the system requirements for Hauk?
A web server running PHP with Memcached or Redis and the matching PHP extension, plus the PHP ldap extension if using LDAP authentication, and Android 6 or above for the companion app.
How is Hauk installed?
Clone the repository and run the install script with a web root, set a hashed password and site domain in the configuration file, start the web server with Memcached or Redis running, then install the Android app and enter the server settings.
How is the Docker version set up?
Use the bilde2910/hauk image, copy config.php to the ./config/hauk directory and customize it while leaving memcached details as-is, and use a reverse proxy that handles TLS termination so Hauk is exposed via HTTPS.
