HexViewer opens files on Android and shows their contents in hexadecimal or plain text. It can open files without an associated Android app, allow editing in hexadecimal mode, save copies with Save As, and search in both hexadecimal and plain text modes.
It cannot open files larger than about 20 MB on recent smartphones, with a lower limit on older devices. Large files can degrade performance or stop the app on low-resource devices, and plain-text search can become excessively slow with large files.
