Joplin
Take notes and sync them across Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS using Joplin, the privacy-focused note-taking app.

About Joplin
Joplin is a free note-taking and to-do application for organizing notes into notebooks. Notes are stored in Markdown format, searchable, taggable, and editable directly in the app or via external text editors. It supports importing Evernote exports (including formatted content, attachments, and full metadata) and plain Markdown files, and operates offline-first so all data is stored locally on the user's device for access without an internet connection. Notes can be optionally synchronized with end-to-end encryption via cloud services including Nextcloud, Dropbox, OneDrive, and Joplin Cloud. The app offers full-text search across all platforms, supports customization via plugins and themes, and includes a Web Clipper extension for Firefox and Chrome to save web pages and screenshots. It is available for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS.
