Langx
Langx connects language learners worldwide for practice and immersion.

About Langx
Langx is an open source project, hosted on GitHub, that connects language learners with native speakers. Users practise the language they are learning by teaching the language they already know. The practice tools include speaking and chat, correcting each other's sentences, and a streak feature that tracks continued practice.
The same Expo codebase provides iOS, Android and web versions, backed by a single Fastify API. The project is licensed under BSD-3. Its tech stack uses MongoDB Atlas for data and an S3-compatible service for storage. Billing is handled through RevenueCat with StoreKit, Play Billing and Stripe. Self-hosting requires MongoDB running as a replica set, an S3-compatible bucket and an email key. Billing, translation and analytics are optional. Pricing for the hosted service is unknown.
