linkinator
Crawl websites, documentation and local files to find broken links and invalid URLs with this link checker.

About linkinator
Linkinator is an open-source broken link checker. It crawls live websites, local HTML files, and markdown documentation to find broken links, dead links, and invalid URLs. It provides both an API and a command-line interface (CLI), and it can be run through npm, standalone binaries, or a Docker image.
The tool can scan any element that includes links, not only anchor tags. It supports redirects, absolute links, and relative links. Users can configure regex patterns to skip certain URLs. The CLI also offers options such as a configurable number of simultaneous connections (default 100), recursive following of links on the same root domain, and crawling of pages listed in a sitemap. The homepage describes the tool as suited to SEO audits and continuous integration.
