About NeedCoolerShoes
NeedCoolerShoes is a web-based Minecraft skin editor for designing character skins in a browser. It uses a layer-first design and offers parts you can search for, or you can create your own parts. Skins can be shared to a community gallery, and the site also hosts a banner gallery and a Banner Maker. The homepage describes a mobile version of the editor for phone and Pocket Edition players, as well as a desktop version.
The site is a fan-made restoration of MinersNeedCoolShoes. Accounts from the old site do not exist here, so users must register a new account. Signing in is needed to share skins with the gallery. The homepage meta description states that the site is free and has no ads, but pricing is not confirmed in the source.
