About Pearcleaner
Pearcleaner removes applications from Mac and searches for associated files, including orphaned files. It also provides managers for Homebrew packages, PKG files, plugins, services and app updates, plus tools to prune unused translations and strip unneeded architectures from universal apps.
It requires Full Disk permission and a privileged helper for actions on system folders, and supports macOS 13 Ventura through 26 Tahoe; versions before macOS 13 and beta versions are not supported. Development has been on hold since end of 2025, with maintenance, issue responses and new releases paused indefinitely.
