About Physics Animations

Physclips is an educational website from the School of Physics at UNSW that provides animations and video film clips introducing introductory physics concepts, including their structures and uses. The current material covers kinematics, mechanics, special relativity, waves, sound, electricity and magnetism, at different levels. The site also includes interactive tutorials, support pages, and a short audiovisual introduction to its structure and navigation.

Teachers may freely use the resources. Students may use the whole package for self-instruction or reference. Some support pages have been translated into Chinese, and primary school resources are available through a separate site called Glimpses of Science. Unless otherwise noted, content is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 2.5 Australia License. Support for the project came from The Australian Office for Learning and Teaching, which states that the project's views do not necessarily reflect its own.
