About Sandstorm
Sandstorm is a platform for running web applications on your own machines or on cloud hosting services, with the option to move between them. Apps are installed from an App Market and receive automatic updates, and items created in apps are kept in a central list. Each document, chat room, mailbox, notebook, blog or other item is handled as a separate "grain" isolated in its own sandbox and kept private by default until shared. Sandstorm provides unified access control across apps to view who has access and revoke it.
