About Scout
Scout is an open-source, MIT-licensed command-line tool written in Python for lead generation. It scrapes public profile data from eight platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, GitHub, YouTube, Twitch, Pinterest, and link-in-bio pages such as Linktree), tries to find verified contact emails for each lead, and exports the results to CSV. The project describes itself as in early access, and a full web app with a dashboard, CRM, and team features is in development.
Some platforms have constraints. LinkedIn requires a session cookie that expires periodically. Instagram may need retries depending on region or IP address, and TikTok may serve CAPTCHAs. GitHub's API is limited to 60 requests per hour without a token. Email verification over SMTP may be blocked by some mail servers, and free proxies are described as unreliable.

Scout is currently a command-line tool. A full web app with dashboard, CRM, and team features is in development, and the project is looking for testers and feedback.
