SFXR
jsfxr generates 8-bit sound effects online, with presets for game sounds and controls for waveforms, pitch, effects, and export.

About SFXR
jsfxr is an online 8-bit sound maker and sound effects generator that runs in a web browser. It is a JavaScript port of the original sfxr by DrPetter. Users can start from presets for common game sounds, such as pickup/coin, laser/shoot, explosion, powerup, jump, and blip/select, or from random, synth, and tone settings, then adjust them with manual controls. The manual controls cover envelope, frequency, vibrato, arpeggiation, duty cycle, retrigger, flanger, and low-pass and high-pass filters. Finished sounds can be downloaded as sfx.wav or sfx.json, with sample rate and sample size options.
The site can also be used as a JavaScript library for playing and rendering sfxr sound effects in games. A Pro version is described on the page with additional features, including mp3 and ogg export, a JSON sound editor, cloud save and sync, and sound packs. Pricing is not stated on the page.
