About Silktide Accessibility Checker

Silktide Accessibility Checker is a free browser toolbar for Chrome and Edge. It checks the page currently open in the browser against more than 200 WCAG-based tests and highlights problems directly on the page. Each reported issue includes a short, plain-language explanation and step-by-step guidance on how to fix it.

The toolbar also includes a keyboard tab-order tracer, a list of H1 and H2 headings, a color picker that scores contrast, an alt-text list, a landmarks view, and simulations of color blindness, low vision and dyslexia. A simple screen reader simulator is included for basic exploration. The free checker tests one page at a time. Signed-in Silktide customers also get content, SEO and UX checks, along with any custom policies in their account.
