About SmartStitch

SmartStitch is an open-source Python program that stitches webtoon, manhwa and manhua raw images into longer pages and then slices them into output files of a size the user chooses. It uses simple pixel calculations to keep cuts from running through sound effects, speech or drawings, and it exports to png, jpg, webp, bmp, psd, tiff and tga. Input files are processed in the order they appear in the file explorer, so they must be sorted by name before running the program.

A GUI version supports most versions of Windows, while a console version should work on any platform with Python installed; Mac and Linux users must install Python 3.10 or later and run a one-time setup script. The GUI version logs program interactions and errors to daily files in a __logs__ folder so they can be attached to bug reports. Bug reports are accepted only for version 3.0 and above.
