About Tagaini
Tagaini Jisho is a free, open-source Japanese dictionary and kanji lookup tool for Windows, MacOS X and Linux, described as an assistant for Japanese study. Users can search vocabulary and kanji entries, mark the ones they want to study, and add tags and personal notes. The program presents contextual information for study, such as transitive and intransitive equivalents of verbs and studied words that use a given kanji. It also offers flashcard-like training modes that follow progress in remembering entries, and entries that were not remembered can be listed on screen or printed as foldable pocket booklets for offline study.
