Terrestrial Ecosystem Research Network
TERN monitors terrestrial ecosystems in Australia and provides model-ready data for research.

About Terrestrial Ecosystem Research Network
TERN monitors terrestrial ecosystems across Australia and openly provides environmental monitoring data for research on ecosystem change. It measures terrestrial ecosystem attributes over time from continental scale to field sites at hundreds of representative locations, with data described as model-ready for detecting and interpreting changes.
Users can discover, access and reuse datasets through the Data Discovery Portal, including remote-sensing products, soil and vegetation monitoring, aggregated state survey data, and time-series sensor data from flux towers, phenocams and acoustic monitors. It also provides analysis tools such as CoESRA, SHaRED and Data Visualiser, along with field methods, sample collections and site-based instruments.
